so what’s your problem……

perhaps, busyness isn’t it….

Ephesians 4:17 in the Message, says it this way:- “And so I insist—and God backs me up on this—that there be no going along with the crowd, the empty-headed, mindless crowd. They’ve refused for so long to deal with God that they’ve lost touch not only with God but with reality itself. They can’t think straight anymore. Feeling no pain, they let themselves go………”

If you find that ministry is challenging because of the load, I’m with you, but perhaps busyness isn’t the primary issue! It’s maybe not about the demands on your time. It’s maybe not the lack of skill in dealing with disappointment and conflict. It always about your relationship with God. It’s all about the moment-by-moment pulse of life with Jesus.

Every wrestle in ministry leadership is won or lost at ‘the feet of Jesus.’ The rest of the time is spent just sorting out the results…..the after-effects of seeking first the kingdom of God!

……pedantic, you may think…….old-fashioned, you may protest!

How is life with you and God, today?
