“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4 v 19
Here is a great truth worthy of sorting out our heads and hearts. “God alone, and what God provides for me is all that I need.”
For the in-between we must learn contentment in all circumstances in this life. And when this truth is not known, we have a wrong belief that we need something other than God, and what God provides for us.
So how can you and I experience this truth? Right now, in your mind, I want you to picture a circle, and let this circle represent God. When you became a child of God, He placed you in Christ.
Picture yourself in Christ. Name one thing God needs. He needs nothing. You are in Him, and all that He has is yours. So might you today begin to think this way? For this is the gift of God’s word applied.
This is provision and more.
This is God’s economy. This is more than I’ll ever need.
