……the only weapon the enemy really has is disappointment. All he can do is try and wear you and me down by getting us to focus on the discouragements, on the times when you stepped out in faith and nothing happened so much that you give up, settling for considerably less than the life of faith and victory Jesus would have for us and our communities. Satan wants you to focus on the time you offered a colleague or friend prayer and they have just distanced themselves since, on the times when you were pressing into healing and you lost loved ones. No doubt the church exist in the tension and pain of the Kingdom now, and the kingdom not yet. However as a herald of this Kingdom I need to develop the habits and practices that allow me to engage in the reality that God is at work. It is all to easy to focus on the disappointments and not on what God is doing, we should share the little victories more!
